Dear PACE Families,

I hope this email finds your family well and healthy.  These are certainly complicated and uncertain times.  PACE is here to help you.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your contact teacher or local learning center with questions.

Whether you are a homeschooling family or a dual-enrolled family, routines continue to be helpful in times like this.  Below, I have provided a few different ideas for activities you can do at home with your family. Most are academic and others are just fun with some hidden academics.

We have extended our foot-traffic closure to April 10^th and at this time have postponed the PEAKS testing that was to occur during the week of March 30^th.

If you need additional classes, materials, or class related supplies, let your contact teacher know. We are here for you! Even though Learning Centers are closed to foot traffic, we are answering phone calls and emails.

Math

Khan Academy has free online math courses and other things. They give a short assessment to determine placement and then kids are off.

Prodigy – many students love practicing math in prodigy.

Breakouts – Try your hand at some of the digital breakouts available online. The company has made some free digital breakouts available during this time. I’ll warn you that these can be super challenging, so starting easy is the way to go, but the problem solving is amazing. They are available for all subjects too.

Podcasts – this is a list of some wonderful podcasts for kids. Some of them are specifically for kids but others while not for kids have some great listening!
