Technology

PACE supports technology in education.

We believe that the integration of educational technology can enhance the effectiveness of teacher instruction and increase student learning. Students enrolled in the PACE program full-time (four courses minimum) may request a loaner computer.

We offer computers for a variety of reasons:

  • To complete the online Program of Study and monthly/quarterly report forms.
  • To provide communication between parents, students, and teachers.
  • To provide access to online course offerings.
  • To use as a research, productivity, and learning tool.

This year PACE will exclusively feature Apple products for our student's technology needs. With a stable operating system and a variety of features to satisfy the digital lifestyle of today's students, Apple Computers are the logical choice. PACE employs 3 certified Apple technicians to assist families.

These machines align perfectly with our TechWorks technology, Power-Glide and Rosetta Stone language programs, PACE Online Classes, and many other correspondence curriculum choices.

A critical component to our academic program is Internet access. Student allotment funds may be used for an internet connection account with prior approval from PACE staff.

Check with a PACE staff member regarding the technology options for your child, including printers and other necessary peripherals.

PACE Technical assistance is available for all PACE-owned technology equipment. Please do not alter PACE hardware in any way as it may void warranty agreements. If you have any questions or need assistance setting up or maintaining your computer equipment, please do not hesitate to call or email your nearest PACE Learning Center.

All technology equipment remains the property of Craig City School District. Buyout options are available at the conclusion of your relationship with the PACE correspondence program.
