State standards in reading, writing and math along with the state testing program makes material selection for student learning a key component in a child's education. Parents may use school textbooks and materials or purchase non-sectarian and non-religious textbooks and course materials. The money may also be used to pay Internet access fees and fees associated with approved cyber and correspondence courses. All purchased material and supplies must relate directly to the state and district performance standards and the student's Program of Study. All materials, supplies and/or activities may be purchased directly through the district or through a reimbursement process. Materials purchased through allotment funds remain the property of PACE Statewide Correspondence School.
