Who can enroll in PACE?
- Students in Kindergarten through the 12th Grade.
- Students must be full-time Alaska residents.
- Students must not be attending another public school.
What enrollment options do I have?
- Full-Time Enrollment: Typically, this is a traditional home-schooled child. Students will receive a full allotment and all of their coursework through the PACE program.
- Part-Time Enrollment: Students who choose not to enroll full-time in PACE can take between one and three classes. At least half of these courses must be in “core” subject areas as outlined in the proposed regulations. PACE has researched numerous curriculum offerings that will satisfy this requirement. Elective classes will be offered through PACE using local vendors who we will contract directly through. Examples of these elective courses include music instruction, dance instruction, etc. This will allow us to continue to offer these important courses to our students. Allotments will be based on the percentage of enrollment.
